Saint Maarten/ Saint Martin

Saint Maarten (also spelled Saint Martin), is a small island filled with so much beauty and diversity. It is only 37 square miles and home to more than 38,000 people from over 120 nationalities. This island is owned by both the French and the Netherlands Antilles because of a treaty they signed over 350 years ago – the Concordia Agreement; an interesting fact about this agreement is that it is the oldest active, undisputed treaty on earth. The peaceful coexistence from people of all colors and backgrounds was such a beautiful thing to be a part of. The locals were very friendly and the food was amazing. The view from the beach was breathtaking. I have 6 more islands to visit and for each of them, I’ll be focusing on 3 main categories: What I Saw, What I Ate, and What I Wore. I’ll also be posting some extra pictures of Kamalu and I! Look down below for pictures of my today’s adventure.
